Manatees at Crystal River
Due to the latest (December) cold spell in Central Florida, the springs at Crystal River were crowded with manatees seeking the warmer (72 degrees year round) waters. These pictures were taken at the Kings Bay and Three Sisters Springs. Many of the manatees were friendly and curious. Some even wanted a belly rub.
